I do my best to write honestly, even about games I love, and I don’t shy away from calling out flaws like a forgettable soundtrack or a repetitive loop. I like giving credit where it’s due too, and I often tie my reviews back to nostalgia and my history with a series. I pay attention to the small stuff like bonus content, achievements, and quality of life features, and I care a lot about pacing, whether a game respects my time or overstays its welcome.

My taste in video games is very broad, just like my love for music, which is often a featured detail in my reviews. I have a soft spot for roguelikes and deckbuilders like Slay the Spire, Balatro, and Hades. I’m also drawn to clever indie puzzle and narrative games like Outer Wilds, Blue Prince, and Portal, alongside tighter action platformers like Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Mega Man.

As a longtime gamer, digging up old favorites is basically a hobby of its own for me, so expect to see a lot of reviews on remastered classics as well.
